Andrew is the Head of School and Dean of Pharmacy in the Sydney Pharmacy School. He is a pharmacist, academic educator and researcher experienced in clinical pharmacology and research on the quality use of medicines. His teaching and research focus on translating clinical pharmacology research and clinical trial evidence into real-world practice. He is the former Professor of Pharmacy (Aged Care) (2006-2018) at Concord Hospital in Sydney and previously chaired the Sydney Local Health District Human Research Ethics Committee (Concord). Andrew has experience on a range of expert panels related to higher education, pharmacy curriculum, medicine policy & regulation, medication safety, human research ethics and antidoping.
