Dominic is a pharmacist and health informaticist currently leading the AI Medical Scribe implementation at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) and the Office of the Chief Allied Health Officer (OCAHO) AI Scribe Implementation Support Project. Dominic brings practical insights from the front line of AI implementation, including the challenges, opportunities and considerations involved in introducing AI Medical scribes into clinical practice. Prior to his role in Digital Health and Innovation, Dominic’s career began as a community pharmacist in regional Far North Queensland before becoming a clinical pharmacist at Gold Coast University Hospital. His professional interests are palliative care, health analytics, and digital optimisation.
